The role Assistant Quantity Surveyor
You will initally be site based in Oxford working on a part new build part refurbishment scheme.
Our client has a regional office in Oxford so work going forward would be in the Oxfordshire area
This is your chance to work under an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor in a site based role making it an invaluable opportunity to learn and to up skill
Duties will include:
Assisting with valuations/ variations
Assisting with cash flow forecasts and preparation of CVR’s
Subcontract Procurement and negotiations
Assisting with final accounts
Assisting with contractual obligations
Qualifications and Skills
Our client welcome applications from candidates from a main contracting, housing, subcontracting or consultancy background
You will have a minimum of 2 years experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
You will be education to HNC level or above in a construction related discipline
You will live within a commutable distance of Oxford
Salary up to £40,000
